ok so heres today

woke up way too early. stayed up wayy to late playing halo 3 which btw i am now a master at. yes im serious. halo 3 on x box live is awsome.

so anyways we droove to houston. got to the church and everyone stole my baby lol
but WOW. it was horrible
i almost died in there. the baptism was rediculous
the decon kept trying to persuade me to baptize kristen and i was like um no thanks.
well then he goes "in the name of the father son holy spirit" and started makeing cross symbols all over her head. seriously. and i though he was haveing a seziure. but the whole ceremony was abot if youre a "good parent" then you will have your baby baptized and teach them they way of the lord because apparentl;y only christians are good parents Rolling Eyes

so then as the ceremony went on everyone was praying and singing and i was just sittting there
and then the decon came and handed me i guess a music book or something? and i said no thanks Very Happy and he just stood there smiling with the book handing it to me.

so i took it and set it down on my chair and he PROCEEDED to stand next to me with hsi music book and point at the lyircs

ok seriously. im not freaking into god. i dont care. leave me the heck alone? why do ppl feel the need to force this kindof stuff? how gaytarded

anyways that lasted a freaking hour. oh and then travis decided he wants to have krissy baptized. but i dont? so what do we do if we disagree on it/ because if SHE wants to get baptized when SHES OLD ENOUGh to make that decision then ok that fine with me. but im not going to throw some "holy water" on her and say "oh that was for god"
what if she doesnt believe in god one day?

Confused

anyways LOL

so then we went to his aunts house for an afterparty or whatever
and travis cousin was there
hes travs age
well since every person in the world wanted to hold her me and travis and mitchell went walking down the bayou behind his aunts house. and we sat under this concrete bridge and just hung out. oh and then i steped in mud with my brand new white shoes
and then i climed a fence lol
and then we did other "stuff" that i not need to mention on here. and then we went back and ate and hung out

and then we came home Smile oh and mitchell and some guys from houston about 5 of them are going to come up for marley fest in april yes which im SO exited for. and they are all going to stay at our house for 2 days Shocked and im so exited. really really exited just to let you all know. Laughing

so yeah
thats about it

lol Suzy you are so cute when you are excited.

That sucks that they tried to force you to baptise kristen. It's up to you! I haven't baptised my kids cause 1.i am protestant and their dad is catholic. 2.except neither of us believes in God so it would be pathetic to do that.

When they are older they are more than welcome to decide they want to do it and we will support them all the way. But we refuse to force them into a particular religion.

Ew yucky over-zealous Christian. Thats why I love CCV, I can go there for the teen functions and they're totally cool with the fact that I don't believe in God.

I am Baptist (which isn't protestant but also isn't catholic) and my Dad's family is catholic so we were always invited to baptisms and such. We never actually went to the baptism but we would go to the party afterwards and give a present. We didn't want our family to think that we are mean and didn't come but we also didn't want them to think we supported it. It worked great for us and our family never got mad.

Luke isn't baptized, obviously because we are Baptist but if some day he prays and accepts Christ into his life then he can be baptized. I think that we are taking will away from people whenever we get them baptized before the age of understanding.

Sorry if I rambled, I guess I am talkative this morning.

Oh, and you guys are going to have to reach some sort of compromise on the baptism thing. Like maybe you will have the baby dedicated instead. The sprinkling water thing gets to me too.

Razz I don't like you! I want an Xbox 360 SO BAD, just for Halo 3!! I agree, Xbox live ROCKS, especially when they are cheating and you still get 3 kills from beating them down!!!

I LOVE YOU SUZY!!! I totally agree with you on the whole baptized thing. Why do they always seem to target people?? At least you got to show off that parasite that you grew for almost 10 months!

also, my fiancee would like to point out you looked better brunette, and he's a blonde man.

I'm not sure where it is... around Houston, though. It's one of those megachurches that has thousands of attendants at each service. Joel Osteen is the pastor there.
