ok last night my boyfriend and i had
unprotected sex. there was penatration but
he pulled it out before he came. i should
start my period the 18th. today i had some
minor cramps like i usually do before my
period. so what really are the chances of
becoming pregnate. should i spend the 50$
for a plan b pill? or are the chances slim
enough to wait to see if i get my period?
i know the pull out method isn't the
smartest and i plan on not letting it
happen again. so plese help! i dont want
to be pregnate...

Always take Plan B. Pulling out does
nothing to prevent pregnancy and is not a
means of protection. Also the longer you
wait to take plan B the less effective it
is.

Is plan B really $50? I thought it was at
the most $30?
Anyways, if you're worried then take plan
b just to be safe.

I definitely wouldn't advise the "pull out
method" ever again. However, regardless,
the chances of you becoming pregnant or
not are extremely slim regardless of
whatever method you might use. Chances are
you're not pregnant. The "morning after
pill" or "Plan B" pill as you call it in
the states has a lot of nasty
side-effects. You should never use it as
an alternative to 'the pill' or condoms.

You can take Plan B but it's highly,
highly unlikely you were able to get
pregnant at this point in your cycle.

you probably have cramps because you're
getting your period. Is your cycle
regular? If so, I'd say don't worry about
plan b but don't do it again. If your
cycle is not regular I'd get it.

Peoople always think the morning after
pill is the answer to all your problems
when in reality it can also cause more
problems than it's worth. Only use it if
your chances are high and pregnancy is
definitely a no go for you. First, I'd
say your chances are slim. of course since
your not using any protection, it's still
possible, but I read in a book it's
between 68-72% effective. I figured it'd
be lower than that.
