I don't know what to do next. Started having stomach pain last september while on a trip. Went to er and was diagnosed as peptic ulcer and given meds. I came home and had the meds doubled as there was no improvement. I also have cardiac and lung problems and am diabetic. One day I said to my doc that I just couldn't stand the pain anymore and he said you should not have pain after eating with a peptic ulcer! Went for gallbladder tests and others. Short story is I was found to have two blocked arteries from aorta to stomach. Had stents and was fine for about a week when the pain came back! After 2 months had an angioplasty because one of the arteries had narrowed again. (this has happened many times with heart stents for me so I wasn't too surprised) I then was put on predizone for uri and thought maybe that is why I have this pain still. However I still have the pain but dr that did the stents says I must have other gi problems . Nothing has been done and now they have given me theophyline which also causes stomach pain. Should I stay off the theophyline until someone listens to me????
