I think I just knew I was depressed, my
problems came more with the medical
fraternity being unable/unwilling to treat
me properly, it's often easier to just
prescibe the in-drug rather than treat the
real person according to their unique
needs (& we are all different).
Having a child recently also means that
some of what you are currently
experiencing may be post pregnancy,
hormonal, stress from the sudeen huge
imapct of the responsibility of caring for
that adorable loved but demanding little
bundle & of course tiredness. I am
not suggesting that all this just started
I understand it's been with you for 13
years, but right now it could be being
made worse by being a new mum.
Try taking her for a walk about 6 -7 am
for 30 -60 mins (good for you both &
at this time it has a positive chemical
affect oin the brain to reduce
stress/depression etc)

another positive
chemical reaction on the brain occurs when
you smile

, so put up smilies

,
& smile in the mirror as often as you
can & at your daughter (that should be
easy!! :d ).
Also there are several natural "meds" that
can help dhea c12.5mg p.D, sam-e
2000-400mgpd, 5htp (start at 50 mg up to
100mg pd), vitamin b, valerian - these are
some of many & you should discuss with
your dr (just remember that many drs
aren't keen on natural alternatives.
In terms of learning about your diagnoses
try a search engine (google or yahoo etc)
& type in cause of, symptoms of,
treatments for each.
