Hi all,

About 2 years ago, i was at my mums place when i experienced something quite traumatic -- my dog was hit by a car -- and I was relatively upset. Anyway, I went to bed that night and realized i couldn't sleep, but I lay in bed for hours and eventually nodded off. I then woke up that morning to EXTREME dizziness, and I struggled to get up. My knees were weak and I felt that after every step i was going to vomit. I felt like dying. I thought this may just be temporary and went on the pretense that it was dehydration, and that day I must have drunk at least 8 liters of water. I felt a little better, went to bed, but the next morning it was the same deal, extreme dizziness and nausea. this went on and the dizziness eventually subsided, but I have suffered from intermittent lethargy and drowsiness ever since...I feel like a completely different person, in a bad way. Anyway, I often get a really bad dizzy spell that knocks me off my feet for hours...PLEASE can someone tell me what is wrong???

Cheers,
Alex

Could be anxiety but more likely to be some sort of organic problem, perhaps an inner ear infection? Meniere's Disease or Labyrinthitis come to mind.

In any case, this needs investigating and you should see someone soon in order to get started on antibiotics if that's what you need.

I think you are suffering from hidden depression. The nasuea and vomiting are probably because you do not eat since depression kills appetite and when you do not eat properly nasuea ensues. Do you feel depressed?
