Q: Fleshy flaps inside Vagina

I noticed three little irregular fleshy flaps just inside my vagina. They aren't bumps. They lie right against the wall, and they're kind of flat. They are loose and only attached to me in one spot.

They kind of remind me of those brown moles people get on their skin that are a few millimeters around, but that can move around if you wiggle them because they're not completely "on" the skin -- they just have a small attachment. Except the moles are rounded and brown, but these are like flat little pancakes of skin, and they are the same color as the surrounding flesh.

There is feeling in them, but they don't look like a normal part of my skin. I've looked up Google Images of genital warts, and it doesn't look like those. My first Pap smear, in May, was normal. I'm going to make an appoitnment with a doctor, but since it takes weeks to see anyone, does anyone else have some suggestions about what it might be?

Thanks!

It may be that these are "skin tags". They are like moles, but different. They are not infectious, and can be removed if considered visually unpleasing. They can grow uncontrolled; my mother had the one removed from her leg only after it became nearly and inch in length.

Thank You Eiri
Eiri, thank you. I didn't know a word for those. I thought they were some kind of mole. Now that I could look up "skin tag" on Google, I feel sure that's what they are. I will show my doctor the next time I go, but I am much less worried now. You rock. Smile
