Has anyone experienced stomach problems after surgery. I am one year out this month and I have started experiencing severe cramping.

check for hernia immediately
You should check for hernias or bowel obstruction quickly! X-rays may show it if there is an excessive amount of gas in the colon or small intestine. I've read about this side effect online from these surgeries but the consequences of not taking care of it can be really dire.
