I am really quite stressed out at the moment with the way I feel about my body. Im really uncomfortable with it at the moment and even get embarressed when people see me or its hot and I have to go to the beach and stuff. My partner thinks Im beautifull but I dont feel it all I see is fat and grossness. I weigh 43 kg and thats the hevest Ive been in about 6 years and I cant fit in to my old clothes anymore wich upsets me. I dont know what to do and it makes my ed worse again when i feel like this, I hate it. I want to join a gym or something and tone more, I dont know its just me being stupid I think because I see myself differently to others

I Know How You Feel
I have had a bad body image all my life and now Im 41 and over weight I look back now and see that I had a good body and I was pretty and I wasted alot of years beating myself up about how I looked. I guess what Im saying is be happy with how you look get help if you have to so you dont waste alot of years with a bad self image like I have. Listen to your boyfriend and just know you are beautiful inside and out.

appearances are not as important as you think. the more you obsess about how you look, the more you neglect other aspects of your life that make you attractive and interesting to others.

one's obsession with their appearance is not only harmfull to their health, but becomes un-attractive to others. a person who is sattisfied with who they are doesn't have to be outwardly beautiful, yet will have a certain glow about them that attracts people.

given the choice between dating a boring cover girl or someone normal and alive i'll go for normal and alive. the beauty that is skin deep wears out real fast... once the novelty wears out, you're done. while a person's inner beauty only becomes more and more appealing with time.

instead wasting time on putting yourself down, find something to love and be gratefull for what you are given.
