Q: Abortion after Rape

Hello everyone, I haven't been on here in a long time. The last time I was here was when I was pregnant with my son. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant now and the story of my pregnancy is horrible. I was sexually assulted. I won't get into the details but needless to say when I found out I was shocked I just started college and am trying to raise a two year old alone. I have an abortion appointment for tomorrow and I was wondering why I feel horrible about the choice I have made but I can't possible raise a baby from someone who assaulted me .. so does anyone have any advice about this ..thanks a bunch

You may feel horrible because you were sexually assulted and because if the situation were different, you could raise the child. However, your mind knows that this is not the right time and it is not the right situation.

My personal advice is to remember why you're making this decision. They are the right reasons. You're doing this for yourself and your child.

your first off not horrible. youre going through alot. its pretty normal to feel this way. your probably scareda nd worried. but people understand how you feel. no one can judge you at all.

i agree with everything eiri said. youre such a strong person i couldnt imajine going through something like that. im sorry.

i am in the same place you are. my appionment is for monday. the worse part is i have been trying to get pregnent with my boyfrind for 2 years. he thinks its his and is happy. i am having an abortion and telling him i had to for medical reasons
