irritable bowel syndrome and hysterectomy Posted: 09-11-03 13:49pm
I am having a problem with my bowel
movements. Always had irritable bowel
syndrome, know that this is not the whole
problem. May be part of it.
I am constipated most of the time in the
last couple of months, the problem lies
with when I push to try and pass the
feces, it feels as if my bowels are in my
vaginal chanel, or I should say trying to
pass through and are lodging in that area,
so I am unable to pass the feces.
Even after I have relaxed and accepted my
fate of not being able to have a bowel
movement and I wipe from the front, I feel
a bulge and when I push on the bulge, it
is the feces lodged there.
I had a hysterectomy a year ago. I do not
know if this may somehow play a part in
what is happening to my body.
Is this normal?
Is there anything I can do?
