OMGSH, this happens to me every 3-4 days , severely nauseous , sweating ...just feeling terrible and then afterwards I feel completely back to normal. I have been letting it go for the past few months but it's such a terrible feeling I really need to know what's wrong. Any answers would help greatly!

I have a similar issue but my parents have this as well- I admit, I am young and was a bit frightened at first, but my parents tell me since my family tends to be more heavy, it's just constipation and will clear in time, but as of right now it hasn't. I don't know what to believe, considering I know my parents have had it for the majority of their life-time (one's 41 and the other is 39), and if it would clear up in time, why haven't their's cleared up yet? I'm just a bit confused because I'm in my late teenage years, and every time I poop, excluding a few times, I feel nauseous and it ends up getting me frightened, considering I hate the feeling of,,well,, vomiting. I just have to point out as well, I've never actually vomited from this. Can someone explain?

Hi everyone I was checking this forum out, I have had this same thing and I went and had colonoscopy done and turns out I have ulcerative colitis. Get to the doctor and get a colonoscopy done that may be it.

I know this post is old but this happens to me frequently. I have Chron's disease and was told that this is the reason why I feel super sick before I poop. I'll start to sweat, get goose bumps, then I start to get naseaus and sometimes even gag or throw up, then I poop and for 10-30mins afterwards I feel sick or like I have no energy. Unfortunately it took 14 years and about 25 doctors and almost dying before it was discovered that I have Chron's!

I know this is an old post, but for anyone new coming with these symptoms, get an appointment with a Gastrointerologist. You may have some form of IBD, Irritable Bowel Disease or Syndrome. My symptoms began over 25 years ago with severe pain, nausea, vomiting and many trips to the bathroom. I went 5 years undiagnosed suffering and losing weight until I finally found a doctor who would listen to me and he sent me to a GI doctor. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease as soon as he did a colonoscopy. Don't suffer like I did, at the least you can rule out digestive disease and a GI will run several tests to see what the problem is! There are too many doctors who will just brush off your symptoms too quickly! GI disorders can be hard to diagnose as well. Since I had gone so long with symptoms without diagnosis, just a few short months after being diagnosed I had to have the first of 4 bowel resections within 14 years! I now suffer Short Bowel Syndrome and malnutrition because so much of my small intestine has been lost due to disease. My Crohn's is very severe and difficult to manage as well. Best wishes!

I have this problem, this year it has been more than ever. I wish I could offer the cause but I can't. Sometimes I get the bad cramps but mostly I sweat and I'm nauseous sometimes it gets so bad that I am really weak. If my husband or my kids are home when this happens I asked for a fan glass of sweet tea and the TV tray. The cool air really seems to help and the tea also helps seems to bring me out of it faster. TV trays so I can lay my head down while I'm so weak. this is happened anytime of the day. I am 42 I'm currently going through the change of life which seems to make the sweating and weakness more frequent while I'm using the bathroom.

I have had this almost constantly for years now & I actually DO puke & feel like I'm going to have a heart attack while super soft stools come out. This only normally happens in the Mornings!! I have seen a thyroid Dr but that didn't help. I'm in my 30's & in good health other than this & add.
WHAT I HAVE FOUND TO HELP. First off this is going to suck but stop the morning caffeine! It has cut down the problem drastically for me. Even though I just woke up & had this happen probably bc I went to bed feeling full from dinner!!! Eat smaller meals w less carbs. This will help though I definitely don't have a cure. LISTEN to your body & start a food log w what you eat & drink at what times!

Please let me know if this advice helps you too! My stomach has become increasingly sensitive to certain things mainly lots of gluten yet sourdough bread is fine though for some reason! I'm not on a gluten free diet by any means but I eat less of it which also seems to help me.
