I know a preschool kid who's diet consists of lots of pasta and breads, dairy products, and low consumption of fruits and vegetables. Can his height be permanently dwarfed because of his diet?

I would think that he would grow no matter what he ate. Look at the people in third world countries who have nothing but rice if even that. No big midget or dwarf problem over there, and some of the tallest people are from the African tribes.

I think it's just genetics and/or thyroid.
