I was talking about how I wanted taco bell, and a girl I work with named Caroline turned around and said "do NOT tell me you are eating fast food while you're pregnant." and I said "yeah, actually I am" and she goes "don't DO that! do you know how bad that is for you?" and i just stood there and kind of raised one eyebrow, and Kyla (another girl I work with) said "everyone does it." and she goes "no they don't" so I said "well when you decide to have a baby you can make that decision for yourself. tell me how it goes" and she said "i will. III want MY baby to be healthy."

I HATE SNOTTY IDIOTS! I can't take it anymore. I ended up going out back and just did dishes and cried.

Oh and the same day before that I was told that I've "really plumped out". Great.

Sad

OH MY GOD!!! The audacity(sp?) of some people!!!! I'm so sorry you have to deal with her IGNORANCE!!!

I didn't eat much fast food with this pregnancy, but it wasn't because I wanted "a healthy baby", it's because it disguisted me!

That's sooooo effing stupid of her!!! And she doesn't have kids?!?!?! She'll see what it's like when her time comes!!

You WILL plump up, hell you're gaining weight steadily for 9 months!! What do people expect?!?!?!?!

People.....

She is right though...but when you're pregnant most cravings can't be resisted...guess she never had a child!

I ate fast food a lot while I was pregnant. It was the only thing that sounded good to me. I have a very healthy baby girl now.

She is 22, has been married for a year, and wants a baby, but her husband "won't let her get pregnant". She is talking about secretly going off of birth control and getting pregnant with him. WHat a great idea Rolling Eyes

It is true that you should eat healthily while pregnant but she could of had more tact in saying it. She sounds like she is on a high horse

I do eat healthy. I just crave fast food sometimes like a lot of people do. It's not all I eat. I don't think it was necessary for her to say anything at all, to be honest.

I don't eat fast food. That is like poison to your body. We eat to maintain our bodies and fast food, while it can taste good, has no nutritional value in it. In fact, it is full of sodium and cheap meat, overly processed white flour (buns) and way too much cheese.

But I don't eat it for me, because I don't believe in eating that way - I don't tell other people how to eat. I do think it is sad to see little kids whose bodies are growing being fed that rotten stuff - topped off with a soda pop. Sad It offers them nothing their little bodies need.

Your baby will be fine. A fetus takes everything from the mother. He isn't going to suffer if you have taco bell every once in awhile. Smile

NO NO NO it is not technically Starbucks. Starbucks bought them because SBC beat them in a nationwide competition, but they keep separate, for the most part. Smile

Thank god for that.

I have a friend who works in the main corporate office for the VP of marketing for Starbucks. I know Wink Starbucks OWNS SBC. Therefore, SBC is essentially Starbucks Razz
