Weird Things Going On Here....

Confused I am a mother of two small children who was recently diagnosed with uterine prolapse.

I had my first child three-and-a-half years ago and during the vaginal delivery there were complications with my placenta. I was diagnosed with placenta accreta Shocked and I had to be rushed down to the or for a manual removal of my placenta. As a result of the accreta, I had quite a lot of hemorrhaging. I continued to bleed for 10 weeks after delivery. An ultrasound revealed that there was scarring associated with the accreta inside my uterus.

My next child was born two years ago and, yet again, I had complications with my placenta -- placenta increta this time Shocked and it was much worse. I was once again rushed down to the or where I had a d&c and my uterus was stuffed with a huge ball of gauze soaked in premerin. As you can well imagine, I was in a lot of pain -- first from the increta, then from my uterus trying to contract down to size around a huge ball of gauze! I hemorrhaged so severely over the next several hours that I had to have blood transfusions. (i was disoriented for a long time after the surgery -- I thought, "wow! I'm so tired that I cannot even open my eyes!!" -- and immediately I had headaches and I lost my breat milk shortly thereafter. Several doctors have suggested I have sheehan's syndrome, but I have yet to be diagnosed. Sad )

fast forward to a year and a half ago when I doubled over with extreme pain in my abdomin. I was rushed to the hospital where I found out I was pregnant again. This time, in my left tube, which had since ruptured. Crying
or Very sad needless to say, I was rushed in for surgery and I woke up with a laparotomy from one hip right across to the other as I had hemorrhaged 400ccs internally. Sad (my gyno said that probably received an infection in my tubes which damaged them resulting in the ectopic -- my suspicion is that it's from that stupid huge ball of gauze!)

all that to get to this: easter sunday I went to the washroom and while I was urinating I felt as though I was pushing out another baby. Exclamation needless to say, I was in pain for the rest of the day -- when I stood, when I sat, when I went to the washroom, etc. I went to my gyno and he said that I have uterine prolapse.

Since easter sunday I have been having pain, cramps and spotting on and off throughout each day. My bladder has since completely prolapsed and my cervix is about 1 inch inside my vagina. I am not sure what to do: could this all be related? Could this be happening because of the d&c? Could this be a loss of estrogen as a result of sheehan's syndrome (as I just turned 27 last wednesday and I understand that the average age for prolapse is 57!?!)? Confused

I just had a laparoscopy today to determine why I have been having so much pain and my gyno told me that he can't find the reason -- except maybe scar tissue from my laparotomy a year and a half ago. (i have been referred to another doc for that.)

so, I am now to wait 4 weeks until I see my gyno again and then "we'll talk", as he said. Confused

I'm thinking about a partial hysterectomy as I can no longer have any children of my own due to the ectopic. Anybody else out there had a similar experience? Any advice on any of this?

I have no information on any of your problems. But I wanted to say that I am so very sorry Sad I hope you can find a way to feel better. And I am sure some of the women on here can give you ideas and such. I just had to express my sympathy.
