i bled for quite a while, i can't quite remember how long. after a while it was only when i would feed eadie. i could feel myself getting some little cramps when i would feed her and sure enough i would bleed a little each time. it very slowly tapered off though. i wish i could remember how long but i don't. maybe like, a month or a month and a half? hope that helps a bit.

I bled for about 2 weeks, stopped for about a week, bled a week, stopped for a week...it was crazy. I never bled very heavily either.

Its different for everyone obviously and it's different from pregnancy to pregnancy. I think the average is about 5 weeks. I've gone for less and then 2 months with another. So if you're wondering what's normal....just know there isn't a normal lol.

For me after both my children it was in between 1-2 wks before the bleeding stopped. It wasn't really heavy except for the first day or two. But everybody is different, a lot of women bleed for a lot longer Sad

postpartum bleeding past 5 weeks.
I bleed a few days short of my 6 weeks postpartum check up with my first after the c section and this time with the second I think I am gonna do the same because my 6 week check up is friday and I am still haven't stopped. The bleeding was never really really heavy just annoying because you always had to wear a pad because you weren't sure how much you would bleed from day to day. After this second c section it seems like I am bleeding a little heavier but then again I have a 19 month old as well so my activity level is different this time around. Thanks for posting this so I can hear other womans stories.
