Self harming is quite common among some
transsexuals for a variety of reasons,
lack of emotional support, the abuse we
non convincing TS get from the general
public, often leading to threats and
actual physical attack.
Loss of family can also add to the worries
and anxieties of the transitioning
individual.

iv'e done a lot of research on gender
identity issues, and those facing the
transgendered population. You are
absolutely right:self harm (in addition to
many other psychological issues) support
is very much needed in this often
misunderstood community. If you ever need
to talk, im hear to listen.
