I was wondering what anyone can tell me about ANA titers and these symptoms I have. A couple years ago I had an ANA test done but it came back as 1:80. My doctor at that time said it was not a problem at all. I was having really bad pains in my knees and shins at that time. It felt like an aching stinging pain deep in the bone accompanied by little muscle twitches here and there. But NOW it is worse. I am now having the same pains in my lower back, neck, shoulders, arms, wrists and it is starting to get bad in my fingers.(along with worsening pains in my legs with sciatica every now and then). My hands are starting to feel weak and it was hard for me to even open a packet of mustard! I went on a trip for school to a hospital and stood for maybe an hour and a half when I realized I couldn't stand any more, my lower back and legs were hurting too much....Anyway, my point is, whatever this is it has gotten worse, and this cold winter weather makes the pain and stiffness 10 times worse. Does this sound like a real problem I should look in to? Would it be a good idea to get another ANA test for a check up?
