does it take you guys to get hard while
masturbating?

For me it varies. Sometimes I'll
masturbate before doing a big homework
asignment so my sexual feelings can't
interfere with my concentration. During
those itmes, it takes a little while for
me to get it completely erect since I have
nothing specifically to do it over. During
those times I'd say it takes 3-4 minutes.
If I'm about to have sex or masturbating
for pleasure only it takes half a minute
at most.

I'm not sure how there's any correlation
between premature ejaculation and how long
it takes a guy to get hard.
It's a complicated question as well - I
put 20s to 1 minute, but it depends when I
start thinking about it and how much I'm
in the mood or if I'm cold or not, etc. -
In other words, lots of little factors can
come into play. But it depends when you
start counting, once my blood starts
going, it never takes me more than 20
seconds, but it can take me a while to get
into a good mindset for it at times, which
can be anywhere from 1 minutes to 5+
minutes.
Also, don't you need to ask the same
people an additional question to be able
to correlate it to your research? It seems
rather incomplete - are you just assuming
guys who get hard in less than 20 seconds
are automatically premature ejaculators?
Or guys that take over 5 minutes
automatically have ED? I don't think
that's really a fair or accurate
assessment....

frame of mind is important, for me it's
usually 1 minute.............but I have a
hard time maintaining the erection and
even the slightest loss of concentration
means doom and I go soft
