If you are only 5 weeks pregnant and are bleeding heavily, chances are VERY VERY high that this is a miscarriage. I am so sorry Sad

You should definitely go to a doctor.

Are you having continued bleeding and pain? It sounds like it's a miscarriage, but you still should go to the Dr. to make sure everything's ok with you.

that's a pretty good sign. you need to go see a doctor asap to get meds b/c otherwise you could get an infection.

did you not use protection??

anyway, see a doctor so you can find out if it is for sure, although it probably is, and get some meds to clear up any possible infections.

Last year I had a miscarriage and I was 10 weeks pregnant. I slowly started bleeding more and more and then one night I got cramping so bad I thought I was going to die or either my stomach was going to explode. I would definately go to E.R., because you don't want to get an infection because my doctor told me a miscarriage is harder on you body then actually giving birth so if you get an infection it will just make it worse.

it definantly sounds like a miss carraige. i just had one and they're all the symptoms that i had. if you don't get it checked by your doctor then you could be at risk of blood poisoning which if left to long it may be fatal

I agree that I think you are having a miscarrige, I have been through a few myself and they hurt the sharp pains and bleeding are pretty much that babe. I really feel for you. I suspect that I am preganat again at the moment and I have high risks of miscarrages I have a 6 and a half year old daughter who I love dearly but have not been able to carry a baby since her and I lost a baby at 3 and a half months pregs before her, so she is truley a angle in my eyes, I just hope this one stays too!!! All the best.
