Does anyone find that smoking cigarettes
help you to stay sane during your life of
hell? EVERYTIME I try to quit smoking, I
ALWAYS have a mental breakdown, it feels
like I'm not medicated at all. There have
been times where I've gotten past that
mental breakdown and stayed strong enough
to live w/o cigs... but it's not like that
anymore. I just wanna know if anyone has
experienced anything like this.... It
feels like the cigarettes help me more
then the meds do... and I just wanna know
if I'm alone in this or not.

I work w/ clients who have a dx'd mental
illness and the majority of them are
really quite attached to their cigs and
say the same as you.

Sorry, it means "diagnosed mental
illness". Dx is short for diagnosis.
