Hi again all!
I'm the person who left the post yesterday regarding my referral appt. With a gyn. Yesterday, and my decision to have a hyst.

Well, I walked in to that Dr. Office and explained to the receptionist that I didn't have insurance.....And she told me that I would have to pay at least half the bill right there and then....When I explained that I didn't have $90 to dish out, but I would make whatever payment arrangements necessary....She basically said "sorry, we can't help you."....Needless to say I was very distraught! Now i'm back to square one...I called my regular doc..The one who referred me to this chick, and he's making other arrangements to help me out...I was crying on the phone to his nurse..I was a mess! Confused Anyhoo, if anyone could offer some moral support, I could really use it right now!!! Crying
or Very sad

thanks in advance!

Hello, well I really hope everything works out for you. I am a new member, that had a hysterectomy about a year ago. I had mine for endometriosis. You should ask your doc if this could be a possibility. I had real debilitating periods too, went through all the treatment options and ended up with the same symptoms after all those. So I opted for the hyst. I think that your doc should be able to help with the problem with your ins. Situation. At least get the other doc to set up a payment plan. Good luck.
