if you go into premature labor they can try to stop it and usualy it works...sometimes even for a few monthes

but if you go into labor full term (i dont know how long you are gone for) then most doctors will NOT stop your labor, its immoral or something and it can cause problems i guess

Are you having an at risk pregnancy? Have you spoken with your own doctor about flying?

No airline will let you fly if your due date is 30 days or less away, and there are risks to pregnant mothers who travel by air, especially in the last trimester. No matter what part of pregnancy you are in, you should talk with your doctor first to make sure that it is ok to fly.

If the baby is ready to come out, you shouldn't delay labor. Even labor that is pre-term causes certain risks to the mother and child when delayed, because of the side effects of what is used to delay it. It depends on what the risks are either way.

I researched methods to delay a term labor and I can find nothing on this at all, which means that it's not something feasible to consider. The only time a doctor might try to stop your labor is if it needs to be stopped for serious medical reasons (ie, you or the baby are at risk to continue and a c-section is necessary...but this must be decided early on, because the drugs will not stop a full onset). If you want, maybe someone can film the birth for you so that he can see it later, or if you are looking for support, maybe there is a friend or relative that would love to be your labor coach.
