Q: Urethra Pain

So, I had sex around 2 months ago, and a few weeks later my urethra started hurting. It's a sharp pain, and at first it hurt to even get an erection, but it's an off and on pain, and after the first day of noticing it, it's continually faded away. It's not a consistent pain, but it generally only hurts when I actually touch myself somewhere along my urethra. It doesn't hurt or burn when I pee, so I'm wondering, is this possibly an STD, or is it just some temporary ailment, or what?

Except for the first day I noticed it on, it's not that painful, but I've also been known to have a high pain tolerance, so nowadays the pain is nearly nonexistent, but still happens occasionally. It's hardly noticeable, but if I do have an STD or something else that needs to be taken care of, I want to do something about it before entering into any new relationships...

Any ideas?

It could be a urinary tract infection? I am not sure if its an STD. Im a girl and most of the time the symptoms are different for us. I would definitaly get tested before you have any sexual contact. Hope everything works out.
