No. Studies show that the pills will not have adverse effects on you or your baby if you are taking them. However, it's not really recommended. If you think you might be pregnant, take a test.

No. Birth control is designed to be black and white: it either prevents pregnancy, or does no harm. So if you do become pregnant, the embryo is fine.
