Hi

I spend most of my time on the kidney boards and urological board.

Unfortunately many people suffer with kidney stones.
Some stones are formed from the way we eat, there are many types of foods that contain oxalate that people are unaware of and most doctors don't inform us patients of this.
Another culprit is sodium.

Thanks for letting me suggest this.

conflicting and confusing information on foods for low oxalate
Is there a recent and safe list of foods for low oxalate diets. I've found so many and they all differ. Can someone that has sufficient knowledge (hopefully someone with a Dr's degree or someone studying the subject) suggest a site that is recent with a straight forward list of foods low and high in oxolates. Thanks.

Hi and welcome to EHEALTH

I've been getting stones for over 30 years, here's a list I have had in my bookmarks and printed out.

Years ago kidney stone patients were told to avoid calcium but since then they realize it's not calcium it's sodium as well as oxalate.
Hope this helps.
