How do you know when you're getting a cyst on your ovaries? I think I'm just nervous since I've heard of Christy getting them and then my mom had a few when she went in for her surgery, BUT I've been having this constant "pain" on my front right side. It's not terribly painful, it's just like.. an annoying pain that's always there. It kept me up one night & it was still there in the morning when I got up, it's gone away several times but it keeps coming back, so I'm just wondering how you know.

I guess I could google too!

Oh man! I don't think I have any cycts, so I don't know what it would feel like.

But the pain your describing sounds really similar to what my friend had!!
I would def call your gyno and see what they say.
They might want you to come in so you can get a vaginal u/s to check!

I hope you feel better!

Terra....

Thats where i had bad pain when i had my appendix removed.. well, thats where the pain was when i was rushed to the hospital. My appendix almost burst. You really should get it checked out, just to be safe. Any persistent pain that reoccurs like that isn't anything you should ignore.

You should. My friend's burst and it was HORRIBLE for her!!!

I don't think there's anything they can do to prevent it.

But I think birth control can shrink them!!

Cysts suck. I would cramp literally all month long and then after years of that finally found out I have pcos. The only time I really knew something was up was when I had those burst back in February. That pain was so bad that I ended up in the er. I would definitely call a doctor or gyno if I were you.
