i am freaked out. i just took two packets of birth control pills to avoid having my period over vacation. during the whole 2nd packet, i experienced light, spotty bleading. i stopped taking the 2nd packet 2 days ago and still haven't had my period yet. whats going on with me??

Your body is probably adjusting to the hormones.

If pregnancy is suspected, you need to test for it.
That's about the only advice anyone can give.

You were trying to skip your period, right? That's just what happens. You probably shouldn't have stopped two days ago, but if you've taken more than a month's worth of pills in a row it shouldn't matter. So make sure you start taking pills again a week from when you stopped and make this your placebo week. (So in five days)

Completely normal, happen to me when I started taking Seasonale. By skipping inactives, your essentialy doing the same as seasonale which describes break through bleeding as being common during the first few months, min only lasted 2 months and it was very light and very on and off.
