It's suppose to get up around 65* today! It's been in the 30's & 40's, last week for a few days it was down in the single digits. After Kaylee takes her nap (Which hopefully she cooperates for), we're going to go outside! Gives me a reason to finally take down the Christmas lights out there Laughing

What's everyone else doing today? I'm bored right now, & hungry. Weight watchers is pretty hard for me. I feel hungry all the time but I read on some website to wear your hunger as a badge of success.. So I am Sad Today is a week that I've been on it & I've only lost 2 pounds so far. I go to bed so hungry everynight, my stomach growling actually wakes me up. Anyone have any good words of encouragement?

In other news, Kaylee has been driving me crazy the last few days. She's been fighting her naps so by the time I get her down for one it's almost 1pm. Then she sleeps til 3-3:30, THEN wants to go to bed at her usual time around 7, then gets right back up an hour later & is up til 10-11pm. Lastnight she didn't go to bed til almost midnight & she still wasn't tired when I put her to bed so she cried herself to sleep. I had my first cigarette in like 2 months lastnight. I'm used to having a day away from her every weekend but for the last two weekends that hasn't happened so I'm ready to yank my hair out! I don't know how other stay at home mamas survive without ever having a break from their little one(s). I'm looking forward to this weekend though, Denise (Her Godmother) is taking her Saturday for the night & bringing her back Sunday night, so Shane & I are going to go bowling & out to dinner somewhere!

Oh & another thing, Kaylee's been SUPER freaking clingy lately. I can't even go into the kitchen without her freaking out & attaching herself to my leg.

Ey yi yi... Well I gotta go see if I can read to her & rock her in the chair & maybe she'll chill out & take her nap.

YAY for the heatwave. It's been hot as hell down here for the past week!

I think that if you're hungry and it's past 7pm, maybe you could snack on fresh fruit (grapes, berries, bananas) or raw veggies!!
I don't believe in starving yoursef to lose weight. It doesn't make sense to me.

It reminds me of the starving children in different countries whose bellies poke out. I would think your belly would just expand as opposed to suck in.

Also, starving will slow your metabolism...so nibble on heathy stuff if/when you get hungry!!
Maybe even drink a bottle of water! LOL!

There are times where I WISH someone would offer to take Oni.
But I'm sooo used to having her 24/7, that it doesn't bother me.
When the m-i-l, or my mom offers to take her, I JUMP on it!! Of course Baron REFUSES, and we always get into an argument about it!! He's just to clingy with her. He doens't trust ANYONE with her...he worries a lot about her.

Maybe she's cutting her molars and that's why she's been clingy and hard to get down for her naps. Feel in the back of her mouth. If you feel "grapes" under her gums, then you've found the coulprit!! LOL! Teeth SUCK!!

Thanks Sarah, I have a big bag of baby carrots so I'll start munching on them when I feel like I'm starving to death!

I had to make Kaylee cry herself to sleep to take her nap today Sad I hate doing that but she was just fed, just had a drink, had her butt changed, everything. She gave up after 15 minutes or so of whining & shaking the crap out of her crib. I'm going to look when she wakes up to see if she has any more teeth coming in. I'm just afraid of getting my finger bit off Laughing

That sucks about Kaylee fighting her sleep! If Alyvia takes a nap, that's a GOOD day. I can't really figure out how to make her sleep. Confused

I don't have a cure for you about clinginess either Sad but I understand what you're going through! Ihope you and Shane have fun when Kaylee's with her godmother Very Happy

yay for 2 pounds!!! that's great!

are you making good low point food choices? when i do ww i get 24 points a day and some days i have to force myself to snack all night just so i get all my points in. i like to break it down to 3-4 points for breakfast (usually a bowl of cereal for 3), 4-6 for lunch (a sandwich and light chips with a pickle for 4), and about 10 for dinner, and that leaves 7 for snacks. it's hard to get used to but once you start planning your day of food ahead of time you'll get into the swing of things (or at least know how many points dinner will be so you ration your points accordingly). it's also normal to feel hungry for a couple weeks until you get into it, then your body will adjust and that shouldn't happen anymore.

i have a lot of 1-3 point snacks if you want me to give you some suggestions. also, drink lots of water! pee out the fat!

as for kaylee, i hope it's just a phase!

im sorry your hungry Sad hopefully with time itll go away and youll get use to eating less and be able to stick with it.

Kaylees big enough to cry herself to sleep. Both of mine still scream when i lay them down n 30 secs later theyre out. its like they have to let you know ALRIGHT IM SLEEPY!

I wish I got a day a week alone. My mom watches them for an hour or two if i go to the store or take a nap on occasion but i hardly ever go "out" then again i dont really have ne one to go with

Thanks B Very Happy I do pretty good with the points all day, it's just at night when I'm not doing anything I want to pig out, I haven't been though, besides a handful of popcorn I had lastnight. It is getting easier; I just hate being hungry! This is definately taking some getting used to. Those snack suggestions would be great! I'm doing real good with drinking lots of water too. I have a thermos that holds 32oz so I drink out of that all day long, I find I drink more that way than if I were to get a glass of water. I usually have to refill 3 times so I've got that part down!

hey Mishie..

i think ur hawt and beautiful the way you are without losing weight.

I don't see why you feel its such a drastic problem.. I support you DEFINITELY though, and i think you are doing fantastic! Just don't make it such a big deal that you are losing weight slowly.. the faster you lose the weight the faster you stop the good habits you created that caused you to lose it. Taking time to get yourself used to good eating habits makes it easier to keep the weight off in the long run.

*EVERYONE* should!!

I love living in New Orleans.

I think, for visitors, it's a hell of a lot better though. Once you live here for 22 years, all the hype gets old!!!

Last night, the LSU game was here and talk about PACKED! We could barely get home!!!
We live about a minute from the Super Dome...it SUCKED!!

Thanks Sandy! I just mainly want to lose weight so I can gain my confidence back. I want to fit into my old jeans again & my cute tops. Be able to wear sexy little things for Shane without feeling like everything is jiggling Laughing I'm pretty happy that I'm losing the weight though, even if it is coming off slowly. A girl I used to be friends with lost weight real fast, she went from almost 200lbs down to about 130 in a matter of 2 months & she had SO much flappy skin because she lost it so fast, I don't want that!

Sarah, when is Mardi Gras?

Buuut, they have parades the weekends before then.

This past weekend they had a few. This coming weekend they're gonna have a few. And next weekend they're gonna have a ton.

But the weekend of the 5th, they have Bacchus, Endymion, Etc!
And we live ONE block off of the parade route!!!

If baby is here by then, I'm gonna throw her in her new sling I got and catch some beads!!!!
