In 4-5 weeks you have only had ONE cycle, usually takes couples about 6mths, and if it takes longer then a year then a fertility expert should be consulted.
Make sure you are following ovulation cycle etc.
Most couples make the mistake of not having intercourse at the right times.
Good luck

I was on the Depo as well at one point and although not for a year due to problems from it I did ask my doctor about it after my problems. If you're on it for longer then three years then it can cause seriously brittle bones and may cause problems with fertility but seeing as you were only on it for a year I don't see it causing problems with it. Most couples don't get pregnant right away. I was lucky, and shocked, when I got pregnant with my son on the first try. Even my doctor was surprised and told me not to get my hopes up and that it could be possible that my cycle could mess up the first few months after coming off bc. Be patient and maybe chart for the next couple months and just baby dance every chance you get (but not more then once a day.)

Good luck and baby dust. Smile
