Q: Do Not Self Diagnose For Hiv/aids

This goes out to any one who is concerned about possible exposure to HIV/AIDS. If you are at all worried then I urge you to get tested. That is the only way to end the stress. It is better to know what you are dealing with than to wait and wonder for the inevitable out come of either a positive or negative diagnosis. I urge everyone who is sexually active or doing any kind of needle exchange to get tested. It is free and easy and confidential. The sooner you know then the sooner you can start treatment if you need it. Good Luck and Good Health. 2thumbs surgery respect

GET TESTED!
I agree with you Homerx. The only way you could find out is to get tested...
Just like what I did, 'Had myself tested last week and I will pick up the result on Friday. It's terrible counting the days waiting for the result!

WISH ME LUCK!

The result of my test came back negative too, thank god!
It's different here, it usually takes 1 week to get the result. My test result took another week before I was able to get it. They wont release the result until the doc is around, he will give you some seminar before revealing it to you. He was out of town for a week, so I had to wait. Really pissed me off!

Anyway, It came back nega. But you can imagine the torturing 2 weeks of waiting!
I dont want to do it again as much as possible, waiting for the result is the most difficult part... So I have been careful since then.

More power to Homer and Muthoni! You've been so helpful.
Take care.
