I had a period dec 4 while still on the pill...i took a few pills but then messed them up prety bad so i tossed them out..and never got anymore...i had another period dec 24. (what a nice lovely christmas present lol)my husband and i had intercouse today (Jan 7) what are my chances of being pregnant? and when should i take a home pregnancy test? please help!?!?! Confused

Yes, you could be pregnant. The chances are completely unknown because there's no way to know if your system was back to normal. However, it sounds like your christmas period may have been a real one, so I'd say ovulation was possible. Just take a test in two weeks. You can't possibly get an accurate answer right now - the sperm hasn't even reached the egg!

If you don't want to be pregnant, then you can go get Plan-B. All it does is act just like birth control and prevents ovulation - that's it. It is NOT an abortion pill.

I'd suggest Plan b like Eiri said. Go get it tonight if you can, or tomorrow. It is most effective if taken within three days.

Unless you intend to get pregnant- you can test in a few weeks.

thank you for your help..we are actually wanting a child...its just my cycles are so screwed up and this one here just seemed an odd one so i thought well maybe heres our chance. Thank you!!

Yeah just take a test in a few weeks or when you miss a period. Hope it turns out the way you would like!! Could be a late Christmas prestent! Or a Happy Valentines!
