Q: small lump on left testicle

hey all, well ok ive had a small lump on my left testicle now for about 9 years (i no along time) due to this my left testicle is about 1/3 smaller than my right (which is A.OK) ive never had it checked which is stupid i ges, i was just wondering if it was a very serious issue would i have seen many health issues because of this...?

Yes, this is a very serious issue. An increase in size of a testicle is one of the signs of testicular cancer (one testicle is normally larger then the other but the size and shape should remain more or less the same). I don't want to scare you, but you should get it check out by a specialist called a urologist.

you have read my question slightly wrong yoga none of my testicles has increased in size, the one that has the lump has decreased in size by 1/3 of my perfectly normal one.
its been this way for 9 years i was just wondering IF this was cancer would i be very ill after 9 years.

Aha. I see.

The rate at which cancer spreads will depend from person to person. If you suspect that anything is wrong, though, I would again urge you to seek medical advice. A diagnosis can certainly put your mind to rest!

thx for your advice yoga im gunna try and get this thing looked at, i would have sooner but im very stubborn and unwilling to believe anything was ever really wrong..how wrong i may have been.
