hi
i'm 38.
just got my ultrasound results that i have a 'slightly bulky uterus', anteverted (which is normal),volume of the body 50cc, dimensions 5cmx4cmx5.5cm. i am also subseptate (9mm). it also mentions age related changes in the myometrium but i am not sure of this is normal or not. endometrium is 12.2mm which is normal. the fundal contour is preserved. the kidneys, ovaries are fine (with multiple follicles). there are no intracavity mass or fluid and everything else is fine....

what does this 'slight bulkiness' mean?
are the dimensions ok?
what age related changes in my myometrium would be expected at my age?
do i need further investigations?
will this severely affect my fertility?
i cannot access my doctor right now since i am on an overseas holiday.

my periods are always regular and normal...

many thanks!!!
monica

I think you'd need to ask your doctor these questions :/ Why do people not do this? Only s/he can tell you if "slightly bulky" is okay or what it means and answer all of your other questions.

You can ask the Radiologist too. If they diagnosed you with a bulky uterus it stands to reason they know what that means.

Sorry I don't know much!! That's so weird he can't tell you. Sometimes hospitals make no sense! Rolling Eyes
