Q: accuracy of pregnancy tests

Hello, I was just wondering how accurate at home pregnancy tests were. I have used first response about four times, and am wondering if thats pretty much the same thing they offer at the clinic.
My clinic only offers urine tests at a bit more of an expensive price than the drugstore.
Also, just wanted to ask if having an irreguar period could mess up the results of the test, altough i guess periods have nothing to do with urine.
I want to add that i waited far longer than two weeks to take these first response tests (2 weeks- 1 1/2 month)
so can i trust them?
Thanks for your time

First Response
First Response pregnancy tests are very accurate. I have one little girl and I just found out today that I am pregnant again. First Response is the only tests that I will use. They are just as accurate as a doctors visit.
If you take a test and the results come back negative, but you really feel that you are pregnant, it may just be too early to detect the pregnancy hormone. You should wait another week or two and test again. I took a test a week and a half ago and it was negative because it was just too early to tell.
Good luck. Hope everything goes as planned.
