Q: unprotected sex nausea

Hello,
This question is for my girlfriend. Throughout our relationship, we have been having protected sex and have been extremely careful. In mid December, we tried unprotected sex once (I did not ejaculate in her, nor had I ejaculated prior). A bit later on December 29th, she got the birth control shot (this was 5 days into her period). She was urged to wait a week for the shot to take full effect, although for that first week, we had unprotected sex multiple times (again, I never ejaculated and always urinated to kill of any surviving sperm in the urethra before having sex). This morning, she complained of nausea. Being new to this, we immediately jumped to conclusions that she may be possibly pregnant. I'd like to buy the pregnancy test, although I'm not sure if this would give a false negative or not. My question was this: If she really WAS pregnant, the pregnancy test would test positive -- RIGHT?

Please, any help is greatly appreciated!!

even if you did not ejaculate in her theres precum
so now she could get pregnant
this is both of your faults. you knew what you were doing ven when you were warned NOT to have unprotected sex.

wait til AFTER she misses a period or about 4 weeks to test
if you test before then it wont be acurate

I've read that precum does not contain sperm, as it's made in an entirely seperate gland -- the only sperm that can be found in precum is from a previous ejaculation, where semen is picked up and then expelled. I've also read that urination kills sperm in the uretha that might be left over. I could be mislead, however -- please correct me if I am under the wrong impression.

So you're saying that, even if she experiences possible "side effects" from pregnancy, the pregnancy test will not be accurate?

As far as waiting until after her period, there is a strong chance she won't even have a period at all while on the shot, so it will be extremely difficult to gauge whether or not she's pregnant based on her period.

yes that is not ture about precum. those studies have been proven wrong. precum does and can contain sperm period. no matter what.

how long since the first time you had unprotected sex? she needs to wait ATLEAST 3-4 weeks before testing to get an acurate result. even if she does have symptoms they can also be symptoms of pms and the flu as well. not just pregnancy

Urination Is Dangerous
although urine is sterile, it does contain things that can give her infections, so even if you do believe that it will kill sperm, try not to. eww

He means he urinated before sex... not in her? lol... That's what I concluded, anyway.

Karen,
I never urinated inside of her. As Sticky stated, I urinated before sex.

I'm just trying to find out if her nausea is related to pregnancy, or simply a symptom of the shot/other factor. If it WAS a pregnancy symptom, could it be detected by a home pregnancy test?

Yeah, it could. If you're concerned, just buy a test. If it did and you conceived in mid December when you had unprotected sex, then it might show... but, if she is and yall conceived on the 29th, it probably wouldn't show.

Nausea is a symptom of all forms of hormonal birth control. It's also a symptom of being sick with the flu.

She could be pregnant from the first time in December, yes. But by now, a pregnancy test would be positive so have her take one, and then take one two weeks from Dec 29th.

A pregnancy test would not be effective by the birth control- it would be accurate. I suggest taking one a few weeks after your last episode of unprotected sex.

Precum isn't supposed to contain sperm, but it does usually contain some, and can certainly get a girl pregnant. Peeing will not clean it all out, either.

Precum is what got me pregnant with my daughter sorry!

She is probably feeling sick because of her just getting the shot.

BUT you did have unprotected sex even when the Dr said not to. So all in all wait a couple weeks and have her take a test. If it comes out neg then stop worrying.

Always listen to the Dr on these things if you don't want to run the chance of having a baby.

I'm just trying to generally figure out, so sorry for the graphic question, but when he, the man who got you pregnant, ejaculated, did he do it around the vaginal area?

No. Usually in his hand. Not on me.
He would pull away completly so he wasn't even close to me you know.
I understand your just trying to figure things out.
I would stop worrying and in a few weeks if she is still not feeling well take a test or go in to the dr.
