Hi there everyone!

I just wanted to say that i used to have horrible pain in my jaw joint caused by clenching in my sleep, and it would lock and click on my left side and give me horrible headaches every morning or after I ate.

My dentist said it was TMJ and he sent me to a physiotherapist ever week for a half hour and to a specialist.

We ended up canceling the specialist appointment because the lady physiotherapist was amazing!!!

She relaxed all the muscles in my face and head and realigned my spine. Occasionally i get the odd tight jaw or lock up, but I just do the exercise she thought me and before you know it, I'm all better!

So if you haven't been referred, please go, it worked so well for me!
Good luck!

Yes sometimes its just a matter of getting it back into place and strengthening it. however it doesnt work for every one. I had no luck with it. As have so many others. every one is different often what works for one will not work for another. I wouldnt be suprized if it came back. tmd has a bad habit of recessing and then recurring. be prepared to go to the specialist should this occur--i know what im talking about when i say this--its happened to me--many times.
