Labor Inducing Accupressure And Accupuncture Posted: 01-07-08 17:47pm
Has anyone had any experience with these
or heard of any success with them???
I have an appt in a week and they are
gonna focus on the Accupressure points
which are known or can induce labor. Just
wanna know if this is for real????
They also have an accupunturist in the
clinic who can do labor inducing
acupunture, is it worth the money?????
anyone know?

yes. The points are 4 fingers above your
inner ankle. Also, there is one in between
your index finger and thumb!!
Now this is just for accupressure, not
accupuncture! I'm not to familiar with the
accupuncture!! I hate needles!!
But I'm a licensed Esthitician and had to
study all the pressure points of the
body!!

Hey Sarah, the point between your finger
and thumb... isn't that one good for
relieving headaches too?
I can't find the one above my inner ankle

Yes, but not as well as each fingertip.
Massage each finger, stopping at each
joint. THen massage the fingertip.
Those points normally help more than the
point inbetween the index & thumb for
headaches.
If it doesn't help, you can do the same
procedure on your toes!!

hmm... I've never heard of acupressure,
but it makes so much sense, I guess that's
what a back rub it, kinda. I'm gonna have
to try those when I'm getting impatient
waiting for my baby!
