I'm not sure where to place this thread. So here it is...

I'm suffering! I had really bad menstrual cramps after having my children(worse after having the m/c), but this is new.

It started yesterday, lower back pain, bad menstrual cramps & nausea. After i used the bathroom, i wiped and brown blood(old) was on the toilet paper. I woke up last night with the same pain, and again today. I cried yesterday, it was so bad Crying or Very sad
I put a tampon in, and when i took it out today there was more brown blood.

I don't get it! I'm still breastfeeding(p/t) and i'm on the pill(which i've been on for 9 months). Nothing's changed Confused

Any input would be appreciated.

I had cramps so bad at one time, I had to be put on pain medication. I don't get them anymore. I sure hope it's just temporary for you. Cramps are the worst. I used to get them so bad I was unable to do anything for two days out of the month. That was until I was placed on pain medication.

I just went to my OB complaining about my period too. The cramps are excruciating and it's so heavy it's disgusting. They put me on the pill to even them out a bit.
I know what works for me somewhat is a heating pad on my stomach and some ibuprofen when AF is getting ready to come.

I used to get Anaprox.......they were awesome for taking away menstrual cramps. I too don't have any idea why this is happening to you...but I sure do hope that it doesn't last.

I get really bad cramps most months also. I wish I could get some good meds but my doctor only gave me a script for Ibuproffin 800 mg. Its like taking 4 advil. It does the trick. I was taking 4 advil and I felt like a pill popper, so now I only take one pill.

Oh man!!!

Maybe it's the combination of breastfeeding cramps mixed with throwed off period cramps from the pill??

I haven't had a period in so long, I forget what they're like!!! LOL!

Have oyu thought about going on the Mirena coil? They recommend it for people with heavy and/or painful periods. Your periods can stop completely on it
