I have been dealing with now what they say is blepheritis. I have been going to the eye doc every week and have seen 4. I have had my eye pressures take 5 times and dialated 3 times. The dialating was cause I have so many floaters but both tests showed no issues.I have the sores and inflammation/dry,pressure and heavy lids but very raw. I have been doing the hot compresses and cleansing also the no perservative drops. They are worse and seem more dry and super red at night. I tried 3 types of anti biotic drops but they made them burn so bad and so we switched to oral ones but since that my eyes are dryer and hurt more. I called to see if I could give the first anti biotic drops again a try till my apt on wed. So I am starting zylet again for 5 days it says. I heard some negative about this drop. I am desperate and my eye doc said people usually get relief from this drop so I thought if ihave to go through the trial again I should start with this one. Any thoughts or is this more just a caution for long term use? Also by the way I have been wearing my glasses only and no make up. Thanks

~Blepharitis.
I know what you both are going through! I was just diagnosed with blepharitis this past summer. I have very oily skin so I basically had a pre-disposition for it. I used to wear contacts. Not anymore! I have to wear glasses all the time now because I cannot get my blepharitis under control. I wash my eyes 3x a day! I have lid scrubs-foam and individual packets. And I also use anti-bacterial soap on my eyelids. My eyes feel do dry and heavy.

Blepheritis
I've had B for 6-7 weeks, still not cleared up. Using Baby Shampoo to wash out eyes. Also using Erthyomyicin ointment. anthing else? Very annoying. Skin around eyes is "drawn"- corners itch.
