Q: Bad Odor In Semen

My Fiance's semen has a real strong fishy odor and i don't know what it is but two weeks ago i started having that odor too but i used monistat 1 and it went away then i had intercores with him and it's coming back please help us what could be the problem? Confused Sad

He could have a yeast infection- especially if you think you got one. You can pass it back and forth.

Your fiance probably has gardnarella is his semen. Gardnarella is a bacteria that causes female bacterial vaginosis, which is probably what you had (fishy odor). He needs a 7-10 course of Flagyl, and so do you.

If monistat treated her, she didn't have a bacterial infection, she had a yeast infection.
You probably should go to the doctor and get tested.

Regardless, it's some kind of infection that both of you have.
