The only real job I've had was a dishwasher at two different places, and that was just helping my mom out; they were both bars so she cooked and bar tended depending on the night. I tried helping with orders, but I'm not good at abbreviations or remember who ordered what, so that didn't turn out too well.

My fiancee drives truck, which I'm sure I've mentioned more than once on here... But it nice because he's actually home every night. He's been doing it for 10 years (he's 31) and the company he drives for he's the youngest and has the most experience, so they basically cater to him. He has the nicest truck there, although they take it sometimes to pick people that have broken down up.

I'm a meal preparer and chef's teaching assistant at this place that caters, teaches cooking classes, sells kitchen supplies, and prepares bulk meals. I'm going to talk to my boss about switching from meal preparer to childcare worker, though, so I can stay with Jay in the childcare room Laughing

I am a school psychologist now and have been for seven years.

I have had at least twenty jobs in my life, probably more. These are not an any particular order. I had to put myself through school starting the first year so I had my fair share of jobs!! Often times I worked more than one job at a time. I am SO happy now that I am only working a few days a week. Life was hell during those long years.

I want to see if I can remember them.

Office clerk at an oil place

Receptionist at a Cadillac store

Receptionist at a hair salon

Delivered phone books (only lasted one day)

Worked in three daycare centers (2 years)

Worked with developmentally disabled adults in two different companies (3 years)

Residential Adviser at the U. of Washington (2 years)

Sales at Living Well Lady Fitness

Stocker at NAPA Auto Supply (loved that job - so fun)

Dairy Queen (first job and worst ever)

Counselor/Daily living skills coach for foster kids transitioning to adulthood

Summer school teacher for extremely high at risk inner city children (WA DC)

Graduate Assistant - (three different positions while in graduate school)

Telemarketer for a Veterans organization (lasted three days)

Worked for a warehouse door company (job was to visit various warehouses in Seattle area and try to get the companies stickers on their big warehouse doors - got extra money for stickers I took off from other companies) - don't know my title on that one.

Sign Language Interpreter/Nanny for an 8 year old girl.

Big Five sporting goods store - sales.

Waitress at Applebees

Education Coordinator at Columbus Children's Hospital

I honestly feel like I am missing a job or two....how sad.

Oh...
I was a assistant coordinator for YMCA Summer Camp.

Barista at a little cafe/antique shop

My first job was a summer job as a waitress when I turned 16. For 2 months straight with about a total of 7 days off, I worked from 4am-4pm. It was a great paying job though!!!
2nd job was a cashier at Menards (hardware/lumber store) that was for 1.5yrs
Then 2 months as front desk clerk at a Hilton Garden Inn (Worst EVER)
Now I have been a customer service rep for a Durable Medical Equipment Company for a little over a year. It is okay...someday I will go back to college. I want to go into Physical Therapy!!!

My first job was at a nursery in a church my parents attended. I got to watch kids age newborn up to three years old. I did this from age 14 to 18.

My second job was the daycare center at the YMCA. Kids were 3 months to 12 years there (and ugh, we sometimes had up to 50 kids at one time with only 2-3 workers!! 50 kids with such a HUGE age range was crazy work). I did this from age 16 to 18, alongside with my other nursery job.

Currently, I'm a nanny for a two year old (he just turned two last week!), and I've been doing this from age 19-20 (current age).

I'm also a full time student (college), and I'm hoping to either be a preschool teacher, or work as some kind of a counselor for people with family problems or drug and alcohol problems. I'm not sure which yet.

First job, paper route! I was the kid that got up early on weekends to have everyone's papers to their house by 8 am.

I did a lot of babysitting.

I worked at a ski hill where I manned the lift. Basically I sat in my shack all day with a heater reading a magazine or knitting, while watching for people, stopping to help little kids get on, adjusting and watching for sliding bars, clearing some snow, etc. I worked on the T-bar. When the hill was closing someone would come pick me up on their snow mobile and take me to the chalet, where I would take out all the garbage, stock the stalls with toilet paper, chop and bring wood in (so heavy!), along with other little chores. It was 10 dollars an hour, which I thought was good for my first job, and also the only place I could work because they paid under the table and didn't ask for any paper work and at the time I was not a Canadian citizen yet. It was seasonal though, so only winters.

Now I just go to school and take care of Rowan, until the summer when I will work, then I plan to keep working through the first term and the next school year while building my art portfolio and going to portfolio interviews and hopefully start university the second semester of next school year.

The job I want to do (I know no one asked), is to eventually be an art teacher, or an art therapist.

I have worked at a daycare, Cracker Barrel, The Childrens Place, and Hollywood video.

I now teach piano (have been doing that since graduation) and sale for Dan's company. I get to work completely from home so I don't have to get a sitter for Luke. I love it!
