there are SO many pets in shelters that need help. esp kittens and cats. they multiply so fats its not funny. id do cats too if i could
my dogs wouldnt know what the heck to do with a cat though LOL

lol. we found our geez. now, 5 month old kitten when she was 4 weeks old and starving under a huge pine tree when walking our dogs. She acts more like a gog than a cat because she hasn't been around our other cats since we got her. Just the dogs lol. You wouldn't be able to tell that she was every a starving stray kitten. I actually think that is how we've gotten all our cats except the ones we are watching for my aunt. We find them on the street and bring them in.

if i had room for every dog on the planet i would have them LOL

god i hope they dont pass that BS law in calli about pit bulls. Sad
heres how i see it : Banning Pit Bulls would be like banning cars because people get killed in car accidents! Who's responsible, the car or the driver/manufacturer? Any car can be deadly in the wrong hands or if built with defective parts. Same thing with dogs... Any dog. Pit Bulls are no more responsible for the way they are bred, raised and trained, than cars are responsible for the way they are designed, built and driven.

speaking of pit bulls i think max thinks hes kristens dad or something
because he constantly follows me when im holding her. and he lays next to her pink bouncy chair and her bassonet when shes sleeping. hes the only dog we allow upstairs and its so cute how he just follows her every move. i seriously dont think he knows hes a dog.

Laughing

same thing with my doggies!
penut was thrown out of a moving truck on I 35
puppy was dumped in leander texas and left without food or water on a road with her browther (whom we found a home for but kept puppy. yeah puppy. unique name right) Laughing
kasie was rescued from a backyard breeder whom had like 500 bazillion pit bulls in a TINY yard.
max travis got before we started dateing. he was only 4 weeks old. Sad travis had to bottle feed him and i seriously think thats why max thinks hes not a dog. he is attached to travis at the hip. oh and hes scared of everything. stuffed animals,he chases butterflies...lol

and then chance and bruiser are his parents dogs. they got chance 13 yrs ago from the pound and bruiser 4 yrs ago from the pound.

and now floppy dog the one that had her puppies on our porch. she will NOT go away lol
she always runs off then comes back. shes a feral dog though.

whoa look what i found
A 10 Lbs Pomeranian killed a baby a few years ago... Obviously a problem with that particular dog, not the breed. "The baby's uncle left the infant and the dog on a bed while the uncle prepared her bottle in the kitchen. Upon his return, the dog was mauling the baby, who died shortly afterwards. ("Baby Girl Killed by Family Dog," Los Angeles Times, Monday, October 9, 2000, Home Edition, Metro Section, Page B-5.)"

crazyness

holy crap!... i like the rule they have here... the SPCA (shelter) isnt allowed to put any animal down UNLESS it is ill or something like that... but he shelters are overly filled but some people take some animals into their own homes until they find a perminate home
