Darren and I were supposed to have a date
night tonight, but our babysitter
cancelled. I could just cry. Were were
going to do dinner, a movie, and karaoke.
I'm sooooo disappointed. We really need
time together. We haven't done anything
together since September......

I'm sorry your night was cancelled! I
would be really upset to. Its hard to get
alone time when you have kids!! Maybe you
can reschedule for another night!

well honey be glad you even get to stend
quality time with him at all.. i am 21
and almost 35 weeks pregnant and i like i
have said before raise my sister in laws 5
kids because frankly she is a sorry peace
of crap... we live with my mother in law
whom works all the time or complaines
becasue she is ocd and nothing is ever
cleam enough for her.... my husband works
nights almost 7 days a week and i only see
him right when he gets home for like 15
mins then he goes to bed.. sleeps all day
and then gets up at 6 leaves by 630 and
does it all over again... and this is
basically what i get told all the time by
my mother in law (that even though i get
up at 600 every morning get 5 kids that
are not mine up and ready and off to shool
coming home cleaning house going and
getting the youngest of the five doing
home work with them cooking for 8 people
and cleaning house all over again doing 3
loads of laundry is considered doing
nothing around here) this is why i am so
stressed out and then i am fixing to add a
newborn in on top of it all i just dont
know if i can handle it i am so sleepy i
could scream and as i write this i am
doing laundry and cleaning the kitchen...
oh and its 12:03 am here

oh boy. i would have had a temper tantrum
if i were you. lol. that totally sucks.
i wish i could babysit for you so you
could get out. i know how important it is
to have a break. rich and i had a date
night on friday and it made a world of
difference. it's not that you don't love
being a mommy but sometimes you need your
grown up, couple time. i fully sympathise
and i hope you get that date soon. maybe
the babysitter will make up for it and let
you go out soon.

Thanks....I know I canreschedule soon, I
was just really psyched. We want to go
see "into the wild". We watched a movie
at home after the girls went to bed and
had a couple of glasses of wine instead.
No biggie, I guess. But thanks for the
sympathy.

If I lived closer I'd babysit so you could
go have a good time!
