Hello. This is the first time I have written about a problem that has been here for a while now. It all started about 3 years ago now after a period of incredible stress when I became incredibly anxious and stopped enjoying things, socialising etc. I gradually came out of this and started to do more and more things. However, I noticed that I was no longer the same person. My personality had changed and I developed some physical symptoms. My hands shake, I have difficulties with writing, typing. I have noticed that cognitively, I am not exactly the same person. I am slower, I have difficulties finding words and sometimes conversation is impossible. Even my vision is not the same. I see a lot of floaters, I do not focus as before and strangely struggle when the light is reduced. I can still do everything but it seems 10 times harder than it was before all this started. I can still do my job just about but I am not performing as well as I could and I just pray for the day when things may be better.. Does anyone have similar experiences? Will this ever go away? What is the best way to deal with this?

Have you seen a doctor about your condition yet? I guess you could call some of your symptoms anxiety symptoms, but it sounds to me like you might just have a little bit more wrong with you than that.

I suggest that you schedule a CT to check for abnormalities in your brain. Not to freak you out or anything......but tumors or even a small amount of brain hemorrhage can cause difficulties in speech, vision and mobility control. I would go more with the theory of that than an anxiety condition, so please do get that checked out.

If your scan and tests come out normal, then you can talk to your doctor about a possible anxiety problem.
