Q: 15 Months Old?!

I didn't realize until about a half hour ago that today is the 5th, which makes Kaylee 15 months old now! This is crazy, make her stop growing!!

As for an update ::She's doing great though, weighs a little over 20lbs now & I think she grows an 3 inches everynight! She talks all the time, although Shane & I are usually the only ones who can understand her. She says Dada, Mama (But for some reason she calls me NahNah lol), kitty, "Where'd it go?", "Where is it?", & quite a few other words. She nods & shakes her head no & waves all the time. When she's ready for her nap or bedtime she'll take her binky & blanket to the bottom of the stairs & point then wave upstairs, that means she's tired & ready to go to sleep. There are no longer any bottles in this house which makes me SO happy! I hated cleaning bottles! Not that the sippy cups are too much more fun but we're working on her drinking out of a big girl cup now. The binky is a work in progress. When we're home she only has it for nap time & bed time, but when we're out & about & around all kinds of people she doesn't know, I've noticed it calms her down so I let her have it. I'm not in TOO big of a rush to get rid of that, but I'm hoping by her second birthday she won't be interested in it anymore. By no means am I going to have a 3-4-5 year old kid walking around with a binky, I just don't see the point in rushing her when it's obviously something that soothes her. I let her give up the bottle on her own without rushing so I'm going to do the same with the binky. I'm so happy I have such a good baby. I shouldn't even call her a baby anymore, she's growing up so fast. ANYWAY, here are pictures from the last few days!!

*Busy busy Kaylee

*Cheese!

*What am I suppose to do with this?

*So many toys, such little time

*Snacking on a graham cracker

*The famous TV daze

*I'm ready to go Mom!

*Mad face

*An all around bad picture lol, boogers & all

*"Sooo big!"

*Trying to figure out how the bear dances

*Maybe if I taste it...

*Cruisin!

& Totally off topic, but this is an idea we have for the cabin when we build the addition on that we want. This will be many years down the road.

I lovelovelove her mad face! It reminds me of another short blondie I know... Laughing who, by the way, is jealous of Kaylee's awesome kitchen! And her hair is getting long!

(What's up with the deer in the last picture?)

Her hair is getting long, I love it! Now if only she would let me put little pigtails or a ponytail in it! She screams like I'm torturing her when I try doing something with her hair. I don't know about the deer in that last picture lol, I found that picture online when I was searching for "Cabin Remodeling", Shane wants to do a catwalk type thing like that upstairs when we add on.

Oh my goodness. The picture of her mad face is so cute. She is beautiful. I think she looks a lot older than her chronological age. Is she pretty tall for her age??

Thank you everyone! I wish I could make her stop growing for a little while Sad She's actually pretty short, only about 29 inches long but she seems huge to me! & Wow! 18 pounds at 5 months! What a healthy baby! I can't even remember how much Kaylee weighed at 5 months, how bad is that! I'm forgetting everything already, thank god I wrote all of her stats down in her baby book lol!

AWWW!! She looks sooo grown in that outfit!!!!! I love the shirt!! You must tell me where you got it!!!!

She's absolutely gorgeous!!!

Do you have a vanity mirror in your bathroom? Like above the sink that she could see herself in?? Oni always just LET me do her hair if she could see what I was doing. When I first started, if we weren't by a mirror, she would REFUSE to let me touch her hair!!

Thanks Rose! I love your new avatar!

Sarah, I never thought about putting her in front of a mirror while I did her hair, I'm going to try that! Thanks! & we got her shirt at an amusement park last summer, I can't remember which one though but I'm thinking Knoebels? We'll probably go this summer, I'll grab one for Oni!! The smallest size they had was 2T but I managed to shrink it to get it to fit Kaylee perfect!

She is gorgeous!! You are going to have major boy trouble when she is a teenager. She is so tiny compared to Ethan...

He weighed 32 pounds 14 ounces at his 18 month check-up and he was 35 1/2 inches tall.
