Since sometimes women gain weight when they start using the pill does that mean that when you go off if you may lose some weight?

I don't know. I haven't really gained weight on birth control; my body just kind of adjusted. (bigger boobs -lol!). I think it really comes down to diet and excercise regardless.

I gained weight on one type of birth control, (20 pounds in seven months!) And it didn't come off easy, I had to diet and exercise and I am still working it all off, over a year later.

Ha ha me too! I gained weight with the shot (I think) and now that I've switched I seem to lose a couple lbs here and there as the past year has gone by. But now I'm going to start watching what i eat and do my tae bo I got for christmas. I'm so out of shape! I've done it 2 times since I got it and can't do again for awhile cause I hurt so bad!!

Weight
I gained 40 pounds on one pill...it didnt come off easy...actually it hasnt come off completely...so i ballooned from 130 to 170 in about 3 months.
Good news is i just stopped bc and i lost 12 pounds. I have stopped bc in the past and have lost anywhere from 5-15 pounds.
