i dont know what to think of today.
i woke up at 10 and me and travis mom left to go shopping. travis stayed home and watched krissy Very Happy

so we went to the mall and had a blast. it was really fun!!! i got lots of cute stuff and we ate lunch. i feel well rested and have been drinking fuse all day (thanks martha!Smile ) i also went and got my perscription for BC filled!

so thats the good news

bad news is: ok, so one of the stores we went to in the mall was hollister. when i was shopping i left my purse and bags in one of those little push cart thingys you can rent to push around the mall? kinda like a little shopping cart thingy. and i didnt think anything of it. i was just shopping like usual. and when i went to try everything on the lady told me i had to leave mu shopping cart outside the fitting rooms. so i did along with my purse and the bags of stuff i already bought that were IN the BOTTOM of the cart. well i went in to the fitting room tried it all on and when i came out my purse was OPEN and my wallet was emptied out Shocked THANK GOD i had all of my money in my pocket! BUT my DEBIT CARD was GONE!!! i knew i had it with me because i bought lunch on my debit card. so we went back to the food court to see if i left it at the food place and it wasnt there. so travis mom said i needed to call the bank and cancel it. well when i called the bank there was 2 transactions from today, one at subway which was lunch and a purchase of $272!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! someone STOLE my card and USED IT!!!
so then we go back to hollister and i was FUMED. turns out they dont have video cameras in the fitting rooms!!!!!!!!!!

Mad Crying or Very sad

but thats not even the worst part about today. my mom called me, my dad has been in chemo for a few weeks now and its eating him up. hes not doing very good. my mom told me all he wants is to see krissy one more time just in case something happens. so i called my dad. hes so out of breath. he could barely talk Sad im trying not to think about anything right now because i dont need the added stress. so if everyone could just pray or think of him that would be great...

thanks!

Does your bank have some kind of security that they will take the charges off of your account if your card is stolen?

You know I'm praying for your dad. I'll be praying for you too. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I'm here to talk if you need to.

I don't know. One of my sisters emptied out my wallet the day after I got paid once. Thankfully, I had hidden most of it behind some pictures. But, it's so messed up. I wish you could trust people more these days.

OH MAN!! I'm sooo sorry that you got robbed!!

Def call Chase NOW and tell them it was stolen!!! They'll ask you what was the last charge you made. Tell them Subway and the amount. They'll ask you about the $272 amount. Tell them you have NO IDEA what that charge is that it wasn't you.

When it comes to debit/credit cards, thieves don't always need a pin/ID. Some stores don't ask for either. BUT, they more than likely had to sign your name on a receipt. That receipt will be sent to your bank. They can DEF tell from that if it was you or not!!

I hope that helps you a little!!! And I hope you get your money back!!!!

I doubt they used an ATM because it would have been 2 separate transactions. One for let's say $270. And one for a $2 fee for the ATM not being Chase!!

how does some1 charge your debit card? i thought u need like a pin number to do that....=o
and u know what i think....i think it was an employe at hollister who stole it, because it was some1 who knew there were no cameras, and because hollister has like those people standing by changing room and opening doors for you, so they r basically the only ones who can get inside the locker room or like take something without some1 else noticing.

and i am praying for your dad!

Don't tell the bank that you wrote your pin on the chain; they will be unlikely to reimburse you because it will be deemed as your fault. Just an fyi!

Sad

Suzy.. do you know where they spent the $272?? There should be cameras there.

And i second Jules.. do NOT tell them ur keychain had ur pin on it.. you WONT get ur money back if you dont.. a lot of banks these days have theft protection.. if its not you they refund it.

I'll keep ur dad in my prayers hun.. sorry ur day sucked! Sad
