Hi

2 months ago I had a shooting pain in my head, numbness in my arm and tingling feeling in my right arm, as well as feeling 'out of it' and disorientated, heart racing.

A month later I had the same symptoms at my desk while at work .Literally felt like I passed out for split second. Had tingling feeling in my arm, felt disorientated, heart racing ,right arm very cold .
I felt horrible for 2 weeks after that ,with a feeling like I was going to faint, numbness and coldness in arm

Went to the Doctor and said I suffered from panic attacks

I took a mild sedative for the past month, and felt fine

2 days ago I have a numbing feeling in right arm again and my right hand far colder than my left

Any ideas what the cause could be?

It could be panic attacks, in which case, the cause could simply be just having a panic attack- you have one, and as soon as you start to feel symptoms that feel like a panic attack, you get anxious about it, which triggers another panic attack. These can be treated, and not only by medicine but by cbt as well.

However, did the doc do any neurological check up on you? Any time you pass out you need to get that checked out. It could definitely be panic, but you just want to make sure you aren't ignoring a bigger problem.
