Hey everyone,

I hope you can all give me some insight. I'm 21 years old and have been taking Loestrin24 since July '07. For the first 2 months I had my period as scheduled but they were in fact very very light. In September I missed my period, took a birth control test and it was negative. October I got my period again as well as November. I have now missed my last 2 periods. I went to my obgyn 2 weeks ago and told her I was concerned about missing my period and she said it is normal on Loestrin24. She did an exam and had a sonogram type of machine next to her and told me she would be checking to see if there was a baby. She didn't say I was pregnant and said everything looked fine. I did have sex the day after my doctor's visit, and we did use a condom. I was supposed to get my period this past wednesday but did not, and I still haven't. I will admit that I did miss 2 pills this month. I've been sick this week with a severe headache and cold symptoms. My stomach hurts right now and I am very nauseas but no period. I am very worried..can I be pregnant?

When you miss a period a pregnancy test IS accurate.

MOST likely you are not pregnant, but you are missing periods due to the Loestrin.
