Ok...
I had an u/s done at 34wks. I went to my doc today (am now 36.5 wks) and was told that by the measurements taken during the u/s my son has iugr (intruterine growth restriction). His head was measuring 36.5 wks, his abdomen was measuring 36.2 wks, but his femur length was measuring 32.5 wks. And overall his weight and height are in the 80th percentile.

Does this make any sense??? My doc said not to stress it because femur length isn't a cause for grave concern, just height. But isn't that a contradiction: if he's in the 80th percentile range for length??

Doc says he wants another u/s done just to be sure this isn't the technicians mistake. I can't help but to worry.
Any advice or answers will greatly be appreciated. Tia!!
